Welcome to Smoky Mountain Research Institute website. We are an independent research and evaluation institute dedicated to the improvement of the lives of children, their parents, and their families. The Smoky Mountain Research Institute is currently working with the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council to develop a scale for measuring outcomes for children in the 10 domains included in Everyday Kids, Everyday Lives: A Vision for Pennsylvania’s Children.

We are in the process of completing a project on Everyday Kids, Everyday Lives: A Vision for Pennsylvania's Children. We are now in the final stage of developing a scale to measure the Everyday Kids, Everyday Lives themes and we would like to invite parents of preschool children in your program to complete the scale.
